We are very pleased to welcome you to the Sussex Grand Prix running league, and hope your club members will enjoy the friendly competition. We encourage runners of all abilities to take part, whether seasoned athletes or just starting out, and whether looking to win or looking for like-minded social runners. We ask that you share this spirit of inclusion with your members and get as many people involved as possible!
Subscription fees
All participating clubs must be England Athletics (EA) and Sussex County Athletics Association (SCAA) affiliated, so please make sure to renew these memberships.
In addition, an annual sub of £70 is payable to the Sussex Grand Prix (SGP) to cover the costs of trophies, the presentation evening and website hosting – the SGP is run entirely by volunteers and is a not-for-profit organisation. Subs are due at the beginning of each season – no later than 31st March each year. Please make payment, ideally by bank transfer, to:

Reps communication
All participating clubs will have a nominated rep who must be familiar with the SGP rules and scoring, which can be found on the website here: https://sussexgrandprix.co.uk/sussex-grand-prix-sgp-rules/
Reps are expected to attend and participate in Committee Meetings and the Annual General Meeting (AGM). Committee Meetings are often held via zoom, usually quarterly, although there may be times when additional or emergency meetings are necessitated. The AGM is held in person in the autumn, currently at Lewes Athletic Club. Details will be sent in advance of these meetings by email. If reps are unable to attend a meeting, we ask that they send a proxy where possible or apologies to our Club Secretary in good time.
All club reps are invited to join our WhatsApp Community, as this is where information is shared first, including decision-making outside of Committee Meetings, race updates and so forth. We would strongly recommend that you join; details will be provided to new club reps.
Please make sure that you keep your rep’s details up-to-date including email address and mobile number. These details are not shared with anyone outside of the Committee, although the mobile number will be visible to other reps and committee members on the WhatApp groups.
